“Emmanuel” means “God with us” and we certainly believe that God is with us during this exciting time in the life of our parish. We have very effectively used the gift of an interim period between Rectors (a rector is what Episcopalians call a pastor) and are now better able to discern and clarify our call to mission and ministry in Harrisonburg, Rockingham County and beyond.  Our parish life is graced with faith, hope and love this summer and as we prepare for the fuller schedule that begins in September.  We sense that God is helping us grow more fully as persons and as a Christian community through worship, fellowship, education and service to others in Christ's name.
